Resolved to Change

Posted by Orrin Woodward on May 15, 2012

A person either hates losing enough to change, or he hates changing enough to lose. These are the two options available to anyone at any time. The Mental Fitness Challenge is a program of personal change designed for the person that wants to grow, change, and win at the next level. What areas in life would you like to improve? What are you doing to create the appropriate changes in your life? Here is a video describing what George Washington did in order to change.

Sincerely,

Orrin Woodward

Mental Fitness Challenge Testimonials

Posted by Orrin Woodward on May 8, 2012

Mental Fitness Challenge

The Mental Fitness Challenge (MFC) is entering its second week, and the reports from the mental workouts are mind blowing! 🙂 When a person changes his or her thinking, he or she changes nearly everything. When I formed the idea of RESOLVED: 13 Resolutions for LIFE, I began by studying the principles that were absolutely essential for success in my own life. This wasn’t a quick process as I didn’t want to leave out any key element in the success process. Eventually, after nearly a year of examining every part of my own life and the lives of other successful people around me, I was left with thirteen essential resolutions for success. After another year of writing, the book was released in November of last year.

However, that’s just the beginning of the story. For when Chris Brady finished the book and we talked through the concepts, we realized it wasn’t just a book, but a road map to true success. The Brady/Woodward partnership strikes again with the development and release of the Mental Fitness Challenge total success system. Everyone can improve in the resolutions as I attempt to do daily. And with a step-by-step program, accountability partners, CDs, books, and weekly follow-up videos, this is a complete package. In fact, the MFC is as close to a connect-the-dot success plan as I have ever experienced.

Mental Fitness Challenge Results

With that said, we all know that the proof is in the pudding. Therefore, for any of the thousands of people taking the Mental Fitness Challenge currently, I would like to offer a small reward for the best testimonial. Chris Brady and I will autograph a first-release edition of our LIFE book and personally deliver to you a FREE copy at one of the seminars or leadership conventions around the country. I want to shake the hand of the man or woman who has changed the most thanks to the MFC. So sharpen up your writing skills and pen your MFC testimonial below.

All testimonials must be submitted by comment on this blog by June 8, 2012. Here are some questions to get you started:

1. How has the information changed you?
2. How are you thinking and responding differently?
3. What is the biggest breakthrough you have had so far?
4. Have others noticed changes in you?

The MFC is going to change millions of people’s lives, but first the information must change ours.

Sincerely,

Orrin Woodward

Leaders Learn From Failure

Posted by Orrin Woodward on February 16, 2012

What distinguishes the few from the many in leadership? Simply put, leaders learn from failures while most others avoid them. Sadly, when a person avoids failure, he also misses the “teachable moments” needed in order to grow. Chris Brady’s and my #1 Wall Street Journal Best Seller Launching a Leadership Revolution covers the principles of the learning through the Five Levels of Influence.

Surprisingly, the biggest success is typically the one who has been willing to fail the most. For the faster a person can go from principle understood to principle applied, the faster he or she becomes a leader. Indeed, what makes the LIFE community so valuable is the fact that people can learn leadership principles and then apply them within the community for immediate feedback. In other words, the greatest principles of leadership are practically worthless unless a person has a community in which to apply them.

LIFE provides both the leadership principles and a community in which people can practice application.  If a person does his best and fails, it isn’t an issue, since everyone is failing and learning continuously. Do you have a community that provides a grace-filled environment in which to apply your leadership principles?

LIFE provides a safe environment to listen, apply, and fail, so a person can ultimately learn how to succeed. What are you waiting for? Aren’t you ready to stop avoiding failures and start learning from them. Here is a video segment describing the process.  Sincerely, Orrin Woodward

LIFE Entrepreneurship & Opportunity

Posted by Orrin Woodward on November 14, 2011

Leadership requires seeing things before others see them, believing in the future before others believe it, and moving in that direction before others will move. This is the path that new truths follow to enter the marketplace. In truth, however, isn’t a new concept. This has been the reception of new ideas for as long as human beings have populated the earth.

German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer stated that all truth goes through three steps.

First, it is ridiculed.
Second, it is violently opposed.
Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.

Entrepreneurs, by definition, work within the first two steps, since by the third step the real opportunities are gone. So don’t expect raving fans when you get started. Don’t expect everyone to celebrate you as a hero when ridicule or violent opposition is the beginning environmental conditions for all revolutionary change.

Leaders create the future through better ideas and implementation. It takes courage, fortitude, and high adversity quotient in order to change the world. These qualities, and more, the founders of LIFE have in abundance! Chris Brady, Tim Marks, George Guzzardo, Bill Lewis, Claude Hamilton, and Dan Hawkins are leaders of leaders.

Remember:

The Christians went to the colosseum to be burned and eaten before Christianity became the established religion of the empire

That Ghandi was imprisoned repeatedly before India was allowed her freedom.

That America had to do more than just write a Declaration of Independence, it had to fight for years to make it a reality.

What does this mean for you? If you desire to make real change in the world, you will be opposed. The better your ideas, the more violently you will be resisted by the old order. Instead of being upset at this, take it as confirmation that you are on the right track. The establishment ignores you until it is threatened by your better ideas and execution. 🙂

Winston Churchill once said, “History will be kind to me for I intend to write it.” In the same way, history will be kind to LIFE for we intend to make it! Sincerely, Orrin Woodward

Columbus LIFE TEAM Major

Posted by Orrin Woodward on October 1, 2011

Team Leadership and LIFE

The LIFE TEAM just had its best single-day performance ever.

Can you belive it? Our best, single-day performance ever with just under 400 people last night signing up for leadership training.

Calculating this rate of growth over one month and it equates to nearly 12,000 people joining per month!  Never has the TEAM experienced this type of growth and there will be over a dozen new Round Tables recognized at our major! Several of the RT’s are closing in on Policy Council and this growth is occurring before our official November launch date.

Like I have said all along, those who stay (and do the work) will be champions.

I thank God for the trials and tribulations from 2007 through 2010. If it weren’t for the struggles in these years, the TEAM would have never separated out the missionaries from the mercenaries.

Those who wanted to be part of the community only for money must have confused their personal convenience with the mission of reaching 1 million people with 8F’s truth.

Missionaries handle struggles and comeback stronger, while mercenaries become disgruntle at any sign of struggle. LIFE TEAM is gathering a group of missionaries to do something that others have publicly and privately stated to me is impossible – reach 1 million people with life leadership.

The major in Columbus (October 21-23) includes talks from Ernst & Young entrepreneur of the year and MonaVie co-founder Dallin Larsen. He will be sharing on leadership and healthy living. Dallin is a close personal friend and one of the key men responsible for making LIFE possible.

Dallin’s rags to riches success story has been highlighted in Inc. magazine along with others. Anytime I spend time with Dallin, I am motivated to achieve bigger and better things because he sees opportunity not scarcity in every situation. The major is our chance to thank Dallin and his company for providing world-class products in our Fitness category.

Another guests speaker for the Columbus major is Oliver DeMille. Oliver is one of the most prolific readers and authors that I know. His depth of knowledge on a wide range of subjects is an inspiration to me. I am excited to be able to share his wisdom with the fastest growing North American networking community! I spent a wonderful day with him recently and the day flew by as we discussed freedom, America, and government.

Here is a portion of his biography:

As an undergraduate student at Brigham Young University, DeMille undertook additional outside studies in search of greater rigor and depth to his education. He was personally mentored by and worked independently with W. Cleon Skousen and submitted this work to Coral Ridge Baptist University (CRBU), which awarded him a B.A. (Biblical Studies) and M.A. (Christian Political Science) in 1992, and then a Ph. D in 1994.

CRBU was a Bible college with a philosophy of close mentorship and intense studies, and the objective to train its graduates for service in military chaplaincy, education and ministry. DeMille’s doctoral project entailed helping found and establish the curriculum and instructional design of George Wythe College. In 1994, DeMille returned to BYU and completed his B.A. in International Relations.

DeMille is co-founder of The Center for Social Leadership, an action organization “dedicated to healing society, preserving freedom, and ensuring peace and prosperity for humanity,” with its motto, “Empowering Ordinary Citizens to Make an Extraordinary Difference.”

His recent writings in the genre of political commentary reflect a self-described independent political view, with frequent advocacy of entrepreneurship and education as solutions to various economic and societal ills. His non-political writings have recurring themes of leadership, family, education, freedom and prosperity.

Last, but not least, we have one of the top 10 pastors in America coming in as our surprise special guest for Sunday morning. The LIFE TEAM is bringing in the best of the best pastors for the best of the best community builders.

I have listened to numerous sermons from this gentleman and I believe he is not only one of the best pastors in America, but also one of the best communicators as well. His ability to describe Biblical doctrine through analogies and stories is second to none. The PC leadership is honored to have him share the LIFE stage. We will announce our special guest at the major.

The Fitness, Freedom, and Faith talks are covered for sure, but there’s still more. The recognition for RT, Triple 100, and Quad 100 coming into this major is going to blow people’s minds. Not to mention our fabulous PC LIFE TEAM Founders.

Never have so many leaders stepped up and led like they are today. Congratulations to the leaders on the LIFE TEAM, who overcame many personal struggles on their way to their LIFE victory. I will see everyone at the major. It promises to be LIFE changing.

Sincerely, Orrin Woodward
